Our story
Simmark started in 1997, when Mark Simms set up as a local electrical and air conditioning contractor in the Shoalhaven. Nearly three decades on, the business is run by his son Matt, with branches in Nowra, Bowral and Kiama and a team that lives in the areas we service.
A lot has changed around us since then. The rebate booms brought a wave of installers into the region, and plenty have since moved on. Every week we hear from homeowners who can't get their original installer on the phone. If that's you, you're not stuck. Picking up where someone else left off is a normal week for us.
We're still here, still local and still answering the same number. When we install a system, we're planning on being around for the whole life of it.
How we work
We quote every job after seeing the home, not over the phone. It makes the quote accurate and the install go to plan, with no surprises on the day.
Cheap kit fails early, and we're the ones who'd be coming back to fix it. We install equipment we're willing to stand behind for the life of the system. For solar, that means Tier 1 panels and inverters only.
The team that installs your system is the team that services it. No call centres, no starting over with someone new every time something needs looking at.
