Simmark continues to service our local service areas throughout the epidemic although our approach to infection control is, of course, intense. To manage, we carefully follow NSW Health advice and directives. Also, since the beginning of March, we have taken the following additional steps:

4 March
Commenced a series of regular text messages to advise company of COVID-19 risk mitigation and social distancing best practice.

9 March
Installed commercial grade hand sanitisers in our entire vehicle fleet and at the entrance to all four offices.

19 March
All administration staff commenced working from home using the 3CX phone system app for managing calls between offices.

23 March
Technicians begin staggered morning arrivals. Toolbox talks held outdoors only.

24 March
Simmark began holding Apprentices back from TAFE.

1 April
Simmark commenced company-wide influenza inoculations.

2 April
Distribution of latex gloves and face masks for use by technicians whenever working indoors.

We are staying strong as a team and are very aware of our community health responsibilities. We are also highly focused on continuing to provide employment to the Simmark family.
